Mega Million Mother was a thesis film for a student at Chapman's Dodge College. Their film focuses on a sex worker facing intense changes in her life after a positive pregnancy test, balancing the heaviness of the subject matter with moments of levity, in line with films like The Florida Project or Tangerine. The director wanted the poster, title, and credits to match that tone, in addition to wanting some graphic props to fill out the world of the short film.
